Learning to Love you More
This is a really cool website that one of my friends showed me. They post these little assignments, and people send in their work for the assignments. The work is posted on the website for all to see, and some are even put up at art shows and things like that. It doesn't sound cool until you check it out. Here are some of my favorite assignments:
"Record the sound that is keeping you awake" - I like the idea of this. I haven't checked out many people's entries though. I thought it would be cool for one of those people who has to have some sort of sound to sleep to just send in a clip of complete silence.
"Take a picture of strangers holding hands" - there are some really cute pictures on here, though most of them are strangers looking slightly wary of the person who probably asked to take a picture of them. The best ones are more candid, and involve little kids.
"Photograph a significant outfit" - interesting to see what people define as "significant"
Anywho, I just think it's neat. I'll keep checkin up on the assignment. Someday, when I have less things to attend to, I might send one in. If you're wondering what else is on this list of things I'll do someday, go here
